THE CAPE TOWN CARNIVAL

I've been shooting backstage and in the float building workshop at the CTC for years. 

​

I love everything about the carnival, intend to write further about my experiences here,

but for now, I can say this this lot is family. 

To each other, to the city, to me.  

​

They bring commitment, color, commerce, creativity and connection,

opportunity, skills,  design,

fun, love and awareness 

to the city 

time after time. 

​

Thank you to the performers, designers, choreographers,

musicians, teachers, visionaries, builders, welders, traffic dept., 

sewers, make-up artists, administrators, producers, 

sponsors and everyone involved. 

​

This is truley one of the great nights out in the city.
